Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care facility requiring 3+ years of cath lab experience and ARRT (R) certification.
Details
- Acute care Level 1 trauma Cardiac Cath Lab with 6 suites/labs
- Average of 18 cases per day
- Coronary and neuro patient population, including high risk coronary cases
- Uses Epic EMR and McKesson equipment
- Schedule of 5x8-hour day shifts per week with 0700 or 0830 start times as assigned
- Call required on a 24/7 rotating basis with a 30-minute response time
- Weekend call required approximately 4 weekends (Sat/Sun) during the 13-week assignment
- May float to EP/IR as needed
- Supervisor or charge coverage available 0600-1630 Monday through Friday
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years Cath Lab experience required
- Cath Lab and Neuro experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
- ARRT certification required, with RT(R) specialty
- Must be able to scrub and circulate STEMI and high risk coronary interventions
- Willingness to learn circulating/monitoring in neuro interventional procedures for call coverage
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Must be able to pass a negative drug screen for all panels
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for cath lab procedures
- Unit-specific orientation consists of 5 shifts during the first week
- Scrubs are provided
- COVID vaccination is not required for this facility
- Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible for a local pay rate with no radius restriction on eligibility
- Requested time off must be submitted for consideration
