Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with Epic experience for a free-standing ER and urgent care facility, requiring a SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility with 12 staffed beds
• Will begin assignment at the main ER for approximately 2 weeks before transitioning to the free-standing ER and urgent care facility
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, days vary based on facility needs
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (AHA only)
• Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC
• Epic charting experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have ER experience

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Free parking available on-site
• All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November, peak in August and September)
• Must complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable training modules prior to start
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius for travel consideration; local candidates may be considered under different terms
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
