Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer with ARDMS-RVT or ARRT-VS certification and at least 1 year of experience in general/vascular ultrasound.

Details

• Work in a vascular and cardiology clinic setting
• Adult patient population
• Perform general and vascular ultrasound studies including abdominal aorta, carotid, arterial and venous studies of upper and lower extremities, arterial mapping, dialysis grafts, and renal artery duplex
• Utilizes Color Flow, Doppler, Duplex, and M-Mode imaging techniques
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No on-call, holiday, or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general/vascular ultrasound
• ARDMS-RVT or ARRT-VS certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience within the last 18 months required
• GE and PACs equipment experience required
• Broad-based experience performing general and vascular ultrasound studies

Additional Information

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound studies for a vascular and cardiology clinic
• Candidates must pass an Epic competency test-out on site; failure will add unbillable orientation hours to the contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on candidate experience
