Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 3 years of experience and a SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting with float requirements to the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 6:45am to 7:15pm
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirement of 2 shifts every 4 weeks

Requirements

• Active RN license (SC or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Two supervisory references required

Additional Information

• Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with no requests during the first two weeks or for full calendar weeks off, and any requests must be approved prior to start
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the local rate
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 5 years to be eligible as a traveler
