Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, and 1 Hybrid Lab
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Unit staffed with 1 Charge RN, 3 Cath Lab RNs, and 3 CVTs
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Rotating on-call required, including weekends
- Performs cardiac diagnostic procedures, PCI, Impella, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies
- Additional procedures include IABP, thrombectomy, and implants
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
