Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a day-shift cardiac cath lab assignment.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit performing left/right heart catheterization, PCI, device placement, renal, and peripheral procedures
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Hours may vary slightly based on patient scheduling
- Call requirement of 12-15 days per month
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab service line required
- ARRT or RCIS certification accepted
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, or CET certification preferred
- Skilled in left/right heart catheterization, PCI, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, stent placement, and EKG lead placement
- Experience with thrombolysis/thrombectomy, neurological studies, and abdominal/pelvic procedures preferred
- X-Ray skills required
- Altera charting system experience preferred, not required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Travel experience strongly preferred
- Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with mandatory compliance and automatic cancellation for positive results
- Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
- Local candidates accepted up to 50 miles for Allied positions
- Previous permanent staff must have separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Clinicians must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer or provide a completion plan
- Hard document due date is Thursday at 2:00 PM CST prior to start, with some flexibility if communicated in advance

Travel friendly, great staff, clean ER, everyone really helps out good team nursing skills. You will see snd learn alot at this ER. Night shift is were its at, great team.
Cons
High acuity and often short staffed. Very busy. Probably one of the hardest places ive worked but you see ALOT and use your skills!! Tired after every shift. Definitely not for the weak. You really need some experience to work here.
