Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour night shift position in an Acute Medicine Unit, requiring at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.
Details
- Acute Medicine Unit setting within a hospital
- Medical/surgical patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Shift times vary around 6:45pm-7:15am
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or compact) required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med/Surg specialty required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning as travelers
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
