Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level 1 trauma facility experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room setting within a Level 1 trauma facility
• Trauma, general, gynecology, orthopedic, transplant, and urology surgical cases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule with two rotation options: Mon-Thu 9pm-7:30am or Fri-Sun 7pm-7:30am
• Weekend coverage required for one of the shift rotations
• No on-call responsibilities
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Level 1 trauma facility experience required
• Experience with trauma, general, gynecology, orthopedic, transplant, and urology surgical procedures
• Two professional references required
• Flu vaccination mandatory with no exemptions granted

Additional Information

• 13-week assignment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent employees at any Baylor facility must undergo an eligibility verification process before consideration
