Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of acute care hospital experience and ARDMS certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Ultrasound Tech - General unit
- Performs a full range of ultrasound procedures and produces quality diagnostic images
- Evening shift, 4x10 hours
- Weekend rotation required
- On-call required if census permits
Requirements
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer (RMS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
- CA state license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Processes films and prepares records of services performed
- Makes adjustments to equipment and reports any malfunctioning equipment
- Transports patients to and from the department
- Works efficiently to maintain scheduled and unscheduled patient appointments
- Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at the local rate
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday approved per contract
