Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department position requiring at least one year of ER experience and multiple specialty certifications.
Details
- General Emergency Department treating both adult and pediatric patients
- Evening shift schedule, 1pm-1am, 4x12 hour shifts with 36 or 48 hour options
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating required
- Epic charting system required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS or NRP
- Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
- Skilled in respiratory care and care of ventilated patients
- Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and central line care/management required
- Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response to dysrhythmias
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former staff must have separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
