Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ER RN with at least one year of emergency department experience and TNCC certification for a combined adult/pediatric emergency department.
Details
- Work in a General Emergency Department treating combined adult and pediatric patients
- Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
- 36 or 48 hour weekly options available
- Floating required
- Weekend shifts required
- Epic charting system experience required
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS or NRP
- Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience required
- Experience with respiratory care and ventilated patients
- IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required
- Central line care and management experience required
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
- Triage experience required
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response experience required
- Experience managing dysrhythmias required
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care across a combined adult and pediatric patient population
- Responsibilities include triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response to dysrhythmias
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former staff must have been separated from permanent employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
