Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring recent vent therapy and hemodynamic drip experience plus recent travel experience.

Details

• ICU/Stepdown unit assignment
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Hurricane sign-up required but not guaranteed

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS via AHA, and NIHSS
• Minimum two years recent full-time ICU experience required, including vent therapy and hemodynamic drips
• Recent travel experience required
• Experience in SICU, MICU, and Trauma preferred
• Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
• Experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a US hospital
• Degree from an accredited school or FBON-approved institution required
• Must pass Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review
• Must pass Basic Arrhythmia assessment with 100% on lethal rhythms

• Provide critical care nursing support in the ICU/Stepdown setting

• Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations allowed
• Locals within 60-mile radius considered at a lower bill rate
