Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN requiring 2 years of acute inpatient tele experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift assignment.

Details

Night shift telemetry unit assignment, 6:45pm-7:15am
36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Every other weekend required
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years acute inpatient telemetry RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as mentor/preceptor
Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
Applies evidence-based practice within a Practice Governance framework
Focuses on patient and family education, comfort, and satisfaction
