Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a Level I Trauma cardiac catheterization lab, requiring RCIS certification.
Details
- Acute care setting in a 719-bed Level I Trauma facility
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 11 labs
- Primary case types include Cath Lab procedures with occasional EP cases (IR handled separately)
- Average of 40-50 cases per day across the unit
- Uses Epic EMR
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call requirement of 4-5 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month
- Minimum of 3 days per month the tech may be placed on call
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab required
- BLS Certification required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification via CCI required
- Active state or compact (NLC) license required for the state of submission, if applicable
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Work with relevant cardiac cath lab equipment (CVT)
- Candidates must not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
- Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
