Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring prior travel experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
- Schedule follows a 50/50 rotation of 7p/7a (9 days/9 nights), straight nights also accepted
- Every other weekend required
- Float required as needed to other ICUs (MICU, NICU, CICU)
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and PALS certifications (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of recent PICU RN experience required
- Recent experience in a high-acuity critical care setting required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- 2 verified professional references from 2 of the last 3 places worked, each from different facilities
Additional Information
- Must be willing to work winter holidays
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles of the facility
