Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Case Management RN for an 8-hour day shift position requiring 2 years of acute care case management experience and prior travel assignment experience.
Details
- Works in the Emergency Department supporting a readmission reduction initiative
- 8hr day shift, 11a-7p, 5 shifts per week
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
Requirements
- Active FL or Compact RN license required (recent Nursys report required)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of case management experience in an acute care setting required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
Additional Information
- Perform case management duties supporting a hospital readmission reduction initiative
- Travelers are expected to fully integrate and function as core staff
- Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency
- Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the radius
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
- Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and ID processing
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
