Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray in Colorado, requiring ARRT(R) certification and 3+ years of experience.
Details
- Diagnostic imaging department performing radiology and fluoroscopy procedures
- Produces and processes images of various anatomical parts to assist radiologists in diagnosis
- Prepares and administers contrast materials and assists with special procedures and examinations
- May specialize in specific anatomy such as chest, gastro-intestinal tract, or orthopedic imaging
- Thursday through Monday day shift from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 16-week assignment
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT(R) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years experience required
- State license required if applicable
- Must be currently active in applicable state licensure
- Cross-training in additional modalities per department policy
Additional Information
- Utilizes A.L.A.R.A. guidelines to set proper exposure factors and patient positioning
- Operates a diversified combination of technical radiology equipment and software
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background check required
- Rural location lacks public transportation, so reliable personal transportation is required
