Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification (license required if applicable).

Details

Nuclear Medicine department setting
5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No weekends or call required
Uses Siemens equipment
Epic EMR experience required
Facility is closed on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) but open the days before and after if they fall on a weekday

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required (license required if applicable)
Experience drawing venous blood
Proficiency with isolation precautions and PPE
Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs
Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
Lead experience required

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Black scrubs required
Must be clean-shaven to achieve a proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and candidates may not use personal CAPRs or PAPRs
Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted
