Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position in Sacramento County, requiring an active CA OT license and one year of home health experience.

Details

  • Home health setting covering Alameda County, with territory expansion as needed
  • Day shift, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Caseloads and visit mix average 8 hours per day to meet 40 hour weekly requirement
  • Documentation completed using Kinnser EMR system
  • Equipment issued includes iPad and Ring Central for communication

Requirements

  • Current, active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
  • Must be able to supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Clinical notes and documentation due within 48 hours of each visit

Additional Information

  • Responsible for prioritizing start of care visits with next day mandatory reporting
  • Maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office staff
  • Generally responsive during normal business hours
  • Training includes 3 full days, one in house and two in the field
  • Productivity requirement of 30 points per week based on visit type point values
