Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit Telemetry position requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1 year of specialty experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiovascular Care Unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Floating to other departments may be required based on competency and qualifications
- May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Previous Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible
