Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab/Angio position requiring an active HI RN license and at least 2 years of interventional cath lab experience.

Details

Work in the Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular unit
Performs IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures including angiography, cardiac cath, pacemaker insertion, and IABP insertion
Uses Meditech EMR, Sensis monitoring system, and Siemens equipment
2 cath labs on site with a 4-person call team
Day shifts with varied start times, either 8 or 10 hour shifts, 40 hours weekly
Required to take call 1-2 days per week, approximately q2-3 weekends, including holidays

Requirements

Active HI RN license required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab required
Basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
Basic understanding of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
Demonstrated specialized skills in hemodynamic monitoring

Additional Information

Provides nursing care for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac cath, pacemaker, and IABP procedures
Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, with appointment typically scheduled the Friday before a Monday start
Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date
