Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an inpatient general medicine unit requiring a BSN and prior travel experience.
Details
- Inpatient general medicine unit case management role
- Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, Monday-Friday with a variable day off
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic charting system preferred
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BSN required
- BLS certification required
- 3-4 years of RN case management experience in an inpatient general medicine setting preferred
- Clinical discharge planning and utilization management experience required
- InterQual (IQ) competency required
- Recent experience in case management, utilization review, and discharge planning required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include discharge planning, concurrent review, continued stay reviews, appeals and denials, and utilization review using InterQual criteria
- Experience in a teaching hospital and Trauma Level I setting preferred
- Business professional attire required
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
