Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE and EPIC experience for an imaging center setting.

Details

• Work at an imaging center within a hospital system
• Adult acute care and outpatient patient populations
• Imaging areas include abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head and neck, brain, face/soft tissue neck, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)
• Special imaging procedures include diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction)
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment and PACS system
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required every weekend (Sat/Sun 7a-7p, Mon 9a-9p)
• No call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist
• BLS and ARMRIT certification required; ARRT-R preferred
• License required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head/neck, brain, and spine regions
• May care for COVID-19 patients
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Travelers expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's); if contract spans only 2 holidays, 1 of 2 is required
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Candidates will undergo a clinical pre-screen before manager interview
• First-time travelers may be considered
