Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification for a Level 3 Trauma Center.
Details
- Work in a single MRI room within a 123-bed smaller community Level 3 Trauma Center
- Patient population includes ICU, ER, inpatient, outpatient, minimal pediatrics, and altered mental status cases
- Average caseload of 15-20 MRI exams daily
- Performs general MRI exams including MSK, body, neuro, and cardiac studies
- Handles trauma patients with occasional combative behavior
- Uses GE 1.5 MRI equipment, Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Altea MRI system
- 12-hour day shifts, typically Sunday through Tuesday with some variation
- On-call coverage required from end of shift until the following morning on Saturdays and Sundays
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years MRI experience required
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification required
- WA state license required if applicable
- GE 1.5 MRI experience required
- IV start proficiency required
- Ability to work independently
