Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Invasive Cardiology RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior Cath Lab experience.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting caring for critically ill patients undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures
- Shifts include 0630-1700, 0700-1730, and 0800-1830
- Holiday and on-call shifts assigned by unit rotation
- Assigned STEMI call with a 30-minute response time and minimum 4-hour callback
- Uses EPIC, XPER, and Change Health Care systems
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Cath Lab experience required, including preoperative and postoperative skills
- Experience monitoring and sedating patients required
- Proficient with advanced hemodynamic monitoring such as IABP and IMPELLA
- Ventilator management experience required
- Ability to lift 250-300 lbs with assistance and push/pull up to 500 lbs with assistance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, and walking intermittently
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for interventional and endovascular cardiology procedures
- Requires exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products
- Participate in on-call rotation with rapid response requirements for STEMI cases
