Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient ICU experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

Hospital-based Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) setting
Night shift from 645p-715a, working every other weekend
36 hours per week across 3 twelve-hour shifts
Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU RN experience required
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans for ICU patients
Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to coordinate care
Facilitates patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
Complies with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
