Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department requiring at least three years of ED nursing experience and current Illinois RN licensure.
Details
- Emergency Department unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three days per week (36 hours/week)
- Flexible/rotating weekend and holiday shift requirements
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required
- Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, TNS, or TCRN
- Epic charting experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in the ED, including assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions
- Collaborate with providers, patients, and families to develop and modify care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
- Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing hazards
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with staff, visitors, and families
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment
