Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care/Med Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of mixed PCU and MS/Tele experience and FL or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Med Surg/Telemetry unit (5W) serving as home base, with required floating to PCU, ED Hold, and sister campuses
- 36-bed unit with RN patient ratios of 5-6:1
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- EMR: Epic
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of combined PCU and MS/Tele experience required
- Degree accreditation or 5 years of nursing experience required
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Required documents include SS card, DL, and COVID/Flu documentation
Additional Information
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Must wear Galaxy Blue or White scrubs
- Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
- All RTO must be submitted prior to offer and will not be approved afterward
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions
- Travelers are expected to integrate fully into unit culture and function as core staff
- Floating includes other campuses within 15-20 minutes of the home facility
