Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring an active MA RN license and ACLS/PALS certification.
Details
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit setting
- 3x12hr shifts with varied start times on a rotating schedule
- Up to 3 call shifts per 6-week schedule if needed
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
- Primary Source Verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
- Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia care to recovering surgical patients
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, though travel rate will be reduced by 5%
