Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract position requiring 18 months of ICU experience and a GA or compact license.

Details

• Work in the 4W ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR charting system
• Floating to other departments required, including to another facility, as needed based on department rotation

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required to start
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with ventilators, IV insertion, and PICC lines required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Interview process includes Nurse Manager interviews
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as no local candidates are allowed
• Former Emory or Houston Perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited and subject to facility approval, with stricter limits around holidays
