Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• 42-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Post-operative orthopaedic, trauma, ortho spine, medicine, and plastics patient population
• Day shift ratios of 1:5-6 and night shift ratios of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• 50% holiday coverage required
• 36 or 48 hour contracts available

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience with at least 1 year in Med/Surg specialty
• Cerner EMR charting experience preferred but not required
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

Additional Information

• Provide care for post-surgical orthopaedic and trauma patients in a fast-paced unit
• Work in a 24/7 healthcare facility with potential exposure to contagious illnesses
• May be required to work during inclement weather
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Local candidates are not eligible for contract extensions beyond the initial assignment
