Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a day-shift role at a teaching hospital requiring ACLS, BCLS, and conscious sedation skills.
Details
- Acute care teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
- Interventional Radiology unit with 3 procedure rooms and average daily census of 10-20
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required approximately every 3rd-4th weekend plus one weeknight per week
- May float within scope to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
- Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR system
Requirements
- Active MN RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications required
- Skills required include circulating, conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, pulmonary artery lines, telemetry, and vent management
- Pending license not accepted
- Minimum of one supervisor reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, as locals are not accepted for this specialty
- Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off during the contract
- Returning travelers must have been gone at least 3 months from their last shift worked in a perm staff or per diem role
- Block scheduling is not accommodated for this position
