Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring MA RN licensure and ACLS, PALS, and CPI/MOAB certifications.
Details
- 13-week assignment with day shifts from 07:00-19:30
- Every other weekend required
- Emergency Department caring for patients with urgent, critical, and non-urgent conditions
- Treats pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
- CPI or MOAB certification required
- Triage and emergency assessment experience required
- Must be able to interact effectively with patients across a range of intellectual and physical abilities
Additional Information
- Responsible for triaging patients according to acuity and providing ongoing assessment, immediate interventions, and discharge teaching
- Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
