Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Oncology ICU position requiring ICU experience with central lines, arterial lines, and vasopressor titration.
Details
- Mixed ICU/floor level oncology unit within a hospital setting
- Adult medical oncology ICU caring for bone marrow transplant, hematologic, and solid tumor malignancy patients
- Patient population includes adult oncology bone marrow transplant cases
- Day shift 12-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required
- ICU experience required, including central line and arterial line management
- Experience with vasopressor titration required
- Experience managing patients with cardiac monitoring required
- Oncology, CRRT, and Critical Care Certification experience preferred
- Experience with Alaris pumps, trauma course completion, EPIC, and ACLS preferred
- Comparable facility size experience required (500+ bed facility experience)
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing within a mixed ICU/floor oncology environment
- Orientation sessions held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
- Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
