Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical/Surgical Unit position requiring 2+ years of experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Unit-Observation setting
• 13-week contract with 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
• May be required to float to similar units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical observation unit
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
