Description
American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS, ARRT, or RVT certification for a Monday-Friday day shift assignment with no call.
Details
- Perform general ultrasound, OB/GYN, and vascular studies across adult, ED, NICU, and obstetrics settings
- Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements
- Day shift, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARDMS, ARRT, or RVT certification accepted (ARDMS specialties accepted include AB, OB/GYN, BR, or RVT)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS, NIHSS, and Nursys documentation required with submission
- License required if applicable, and must be in-hand prior to start
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Philips equipment experience preferred
- Experience with OB/GYN studies (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, placenta previa, umbilical cord doppler) preferred
- Experience with vascular studies (aorta, carotid, color flow, doppler, duplex, lower/upper extremity arterial and venous, M-mode, renal artery duplex) preferred
- Experience with fetal and neonatal abdomen/head imaging preferred
Additional Information
- Perform general ultrasound procedures including biliary tract, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, renal/pelvis, bladder, and transvaginal studies
- Perform procedures such as cyst aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and transplant studies
- Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with no exceptions for positive results
- Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
