Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with acute care and case management experience for a hospital setting.
Details
- Case Management/Utilization Review department in an acute care hospital setting
- 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, 3 shifts per week
- Every other week requires 1 additional 8-hour shift (11:00 AM to 7:30 PM) resulting in 4 hours of overtime
- Floating required to sister campuses as needed, with travelers prioritized for floating assignments
- Sister campuses are within 15-20 minutes of each other
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required, with Nursys verification on profile
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Degree accreditation must be documented on profile, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation documentation
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification including property records review
- Candidates cannot own or cosign on property within the 50-mile radius
- Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
- No block scheduling requests accommodated
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to start date and will not be approved after offer
- Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit to the facility for badge/ID
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
- Candidates are expected to integrate as core staff and demonstrate flexibility and teamwork
- Interview process includes an HWL prescreen interview followed by a final manager interview
