Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring OH or compact RN license and ACLS/NIHSS certification.

Details

Stepdown unit within a hospital setting caring for HVTI-Stepdown patient population
Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
Day/Night rotating 3x12 shifts (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30), subject to change based on operational needs
Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year combined permanent experience in the stepdown specialty required
One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applying specialty required (no co-worker references accepted)
Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a passing score
COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information

Provide stepdown-level nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
Facility does not accept candidates with any license hits or open background check cases
Locals accepted at the same bill rate
Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
All requested time off must be discussed and finalized prior to starting the assignment
