Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a day shift contract requiring PACU and PreOp experience along with on-call rotation availability.

Details

Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a hospital setting
Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts and varied start times, earliest at 0600
No floating required
Weekend shifts only required when on-call
Holiday coverage required as part of on-call rotation
On-call requirement of 8 shifts per month on a rotating weekend and holiday basis

Requirements

Active KS or compact RN license
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 1 year of PACU and PreOp experience required
New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Facility is nicotine-free
Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility for consideration
First-time travelers are not specified as accepted given the experience requirement
