Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac CT scanning for a day shift contract role.

Details

• Radiology department performing CT scans including CTA Heart cardiac studies and general CT exams
• Day shift schedule Sunday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Technologist works independently on Sunday shifts
• Uses Siemens Force CT scanners
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience, including cardiac CTA scanning; 3+ years preferred
• ARRT and IEMA certification required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred; American Red Cross accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
• Active, non-pending licensure and certifications required
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge within the applicable specialty area, dated within the last year
• A travel reference is preferred

Additional Information

• Primarily scans cardiac CTA studies on weekdays and general CT exams on Sundays
• On-site interview conducted by the facility, lasting approximately 10-15 minutes
• Orientation held Monday through Friday for one week, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must have a 12-month break in service before being eligible as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts
