Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Surgery Circulator for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of OR experience and availability for call and holiday coverage.
Details
- Operating Room unit position functioning as a surgery circulator
- 13-week assignment with a 06:30-15:00 shift schedule
- Must take call and work holidays as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact/OK) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Implement and monitor patient care plans and communicate patient condition as appropriate
- Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Carry out physician and nursing orders and assist with discharge planning
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Follow Standard Precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule
