Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a Maternal Fetal unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and certification in CCI, RDCS, or ARRT.

Details

• Maternal Fetal ultrasound unit within a community hospital setting
• Monday through Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a lunch break from 12-1pm
• 5x8 hour shifts per week
• Candidates will float within scope if needed
• EPIC charting system experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required in applicable position
• BLS required
• CCI, RDCS, or ARRT certification required
• VA or compact state license required if applicable, and must be in hand at time of submittal
• BSN preferred
• 2 professional references required (supervisor level or above)
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program (diploma, Associate's, or BSN accepted)

Additional Information

• Facility maintains a natural nail policy
• Drug and tobacco free workplace, smoking not permitted on campus
• Background checks will be reviewed by the facility
• Modules assigned during orientation via the VCU Learning Exchange, to be completed by the Friday of orientation week
• Travelers and permanent staff must be separated from VCU Health for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to unit manager approval; no time off is granted during the first week of assignment
