Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position in an ambulatory surgical unit, requiring pediatric pre-op/post-op experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Ambulatory Surgical Unit setting with 6 OR beds
- Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU care for pediatric patients
- 2:1 patient ratios
- Varied 4x10's day shift schedule with start times between 6:15-8:30am
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active VA RN license or Compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only)
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU experience with pediatric patients required
- Epic EMR experience required
- US SSN required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide pre-operative, post-operative, and PACU nursing care to pediatric surgical patients
- Scrubs will be provided by the facility
- Must adhere to facility dress code policy
- Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be considered for this travel position
