Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med-Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years acute care experience.
Details
- Acute Care/Observation Med-Surg Adult unit caring for Ortho surgery, Hybrid Cath Lab, and acute/chronic illness patients
- 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotation
- Call rotation required, with one call shift per 2-week period taken in place of guaranteed hours when requested due to staffing needs
- Telemetry Med/Surg and Observation patient populations
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience required
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current Flu Vaccine required Oct 1 through Apr 1 with no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process for acute and critical disease states
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
