Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment requiring 1-2+ years of experience and AHA certification.
Details
- Radiology department setting performing ultrasound/sonography procedures
- Evening shift from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 40 hours per week scheduled
- Call required through the week and every fourth weekend
- Uses Toshiba ultrasound equipment
- Meditech EHR system
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer required
- AHA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Must pass Iowa SING background check including criminal and child abuse portions
- Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
- Must pass 10-panel drug screening including opiates
- Titers required within last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Facility offers a wide range of services including emergency medicine, critical care, medical/surgical, acute rehabilitation, obstetrics, and pediatrics
- Any scrub color accepted
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- Monday or Tuesday start dates allowed
