Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Radiology-Nurses unit performing work-up and recovery care for 50-60 patients per day
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses
• Uses EPIC EMR along with iSTAT and point-of-care (POC) equipment
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, no rotation between weekdays and weekends
• Shift assignment (1st, 2nd, 3rd shift or weekend) based on current departmental need, per contract terms
• Call responsibilities shared fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of core experience in Interventional Radiology or related specialty, with most recent experience within the last year
• EPIC EMR experience required
• At least 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
