Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring 4+ years of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience and current ACLS certification.
Details
- Cardiac Catheterization unit assignment
- Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
- Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 07:00-17:30
- On-call required
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross) required
- Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting required
- Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Communicates continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
- Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory and ensures procedure room readiness
- Obtains supplies for individual cases and supports overall Cardiovascular Lab team needs
- Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
