Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring a CA RN license and 2+ years of ER experience.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a 200-bed acute care hospital
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Variable shift start times including 1500 or 1900 for 12-hour night shifts
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating required between like units
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care to a variety of patient presentations
- Scrub color requirement: Solid Royal Blue for RNs
- Free parking available on-site
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Minimal to no RTO preferred for this role
