Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a night shift position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and strong neuro and vascular skills.

Details

• Operating Room unit setting within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No block scheduling available
• Required to work weekends and holidays
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA state or compact) currently in hand
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• High rating on skills checklist required, including neuro and vascular competencies
• Experience in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe trauma cases required
• Proven success in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments required
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations required
• Competency in Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard required
• Must have personal electronics to access required applications

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity trauma surgical environment
• Handles complex and challenging surgical cases due to the intensity and volume of trauma care
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
