Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a hospital-based role requiring 1+ years of experience and PA or compact license.

Details

• MRI Tech unit within a hospital radiology/cardiology department
• 8 days on, 6 days off rotation averaging 40 hours per week over a two-week pay period
• Shifts range from 6 to 12 hours across the rotation, including weekday and weekend coverage
• Works every other weekend
• On-call responsibility approximately once per month, with weekday call coverage through 9:00 PM
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• Active PA or Compact license required if applicable
• AHA-issued certifications only accepted
• Cerner experience preferred
• DL, SSN, and DOB required for consideration
• Two supervisor references preferred

Additional Information

• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Candidates must live over 50 miles from the facility based on DL; local candidates not accepted
• Travel pairs may be accepted based on facility need, though identical schedules cannot be guaranteed
• Former permanent employees are ineligible for travel assignment unless separated for at least 2 years
• Travelers who complete a cumulative year within the health system must wait two years before returning
• Can only be placed at one facility within the health system at a time
• Fingerprinting, drug screening, and required labs must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing
• Demographic sheet must be submitted within 48 hours of signing
• All compliance requirements must be cleared by the Wednesday prior to start
• Pre-start modules (approximately 1 hour) must be completed before entering the facility
